May 16th, 2025 – On Day 2 of CIBF2025 in Shenzhen, Jiangsu Reliance Energy Tech captivated the industry with a groundbreaking tech showcase. The global launch event, themed “Tabless Uncharted, Power Unbound,” unveiled the revolutionary 21700-6.0Ah tabless large cylindrical battery cell. This epoch-making product shattered industry limits with an energy density exceeding 300Wh/kg. The venue was filled to capacity, with representatives from leading clients, technical experts, industry pioneers, and media witnessing this milestone moment.

The newly launched INR21700-RH60 and RS60 models feature industry-leading tabless design, which drastically reduces internal resistance through innovative structural optimization. This significantly enhances energy density and cycle life. Coupled with an ultra-high-nickel NMC90 cathode + silicon-carbon composite anode system, energy density surpasses 300Wh/kg. Post-event, Reliance Energy Tech and Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. signed a strategic agreement to co-establish a Battery Quality Innovation Lab. Leveraging Zeiss’ century-long expertise in precision measurement and Reliance’s innovation in new energy, the partnership will drive deep technical synergy across R&D, production, and lifecycle quality control.

This collaboration not only establishes regularized cooperation mechanisms in areas such as inspection equipment procurement and joint talent development programs, but will also champion Chinese new energy industry quality standards in global markets through a joint branding initiative.
