Highlights
From March 24th to 26th, Jiangsu Reliance Energy made its debut at the 2025 China International Hardware Fair (CIHF) as a “New Energy Technology Reconstructor.” At this year’s CIHF, Reliance not only unveiled the revolutionary RS50 battery cell—marking its global mass production launch—but also announced two strategic partnerships to integrate the full value chain of “R&D, smart manufacturing, and global delivery.” This bold move declared to the world that Chinese new energy enterprises are redefining industrial upgrading.
Reliance’s Booth Stole the Spotlight
As an innovator in new energy, Reliance focuses on core battery R&D, integrating “high-rate, high energy density, high safety, long endurance, ultra-fast charging, and wide temperature range” into its design philosophy. Its solutions span power, energy storage, industrial applications, and beyond.
At the expo, Reliacne showcased its new high-power, high-energy-density tabless large cylindrical cells—21 & 46 Series:
21700-4.0Ah: Ultra-high charge/discharge rate
21700-5.0Ah: Ultra-high rate + high capacity
21700-6.0Ah: Medium-high rate + ultra-high capacity
46-Series: Ultra-high rate + ultra-high capacity

Reliance’s Booth Drew Massive Crowds
As a first-time exhibitor, Reliance attracted swarms of industry experts and clients. Visitors flocked to explore its tabless large cylindrical cells, sparking unprecedented interest.
The 21 & 46 Series tabless cells—featuring structural innovation, leapfrogging energy density, and superior rate performance—emerged as a “key lever” for new energy industry upgrades, capturing in-depth attention from over 100 clients.

Core Technology Matrix
At 14:58 on March 25th, Reliance hosted its global debut of the INR21700-RS50—the world’s first mass-produced tabless battery—under the theme “Leading Quality, Defining the Future.” The event was livestreamed across 10+ media platforms, drawing nearly 50,000 professionals. The successful launch heralds the era of high-energy lithium batteries.
Double Breakthrough: Strategic Alliances Forged
At the launch, Reliance signed a strategic partnership with Hangzhou Hikrobot Intelligence to integrate new energy tech with smart logistics systems.
Simultaneously, it inked a deal with Jiangsu Fanhua Import & Export Co., Ltd. to combine R&D prowess with global service capabilities, targeting markets in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Moving forward, Reliance will invest 20% of its revenue in R&D, advancing frontier fields like solid-state electrolytes and lithium-metal anodes.

Mission Accomplished: A Landmark Closure
As the blue arc of Reliance’s tabless cells lit up the booth and strategic partnerships etched their mark on history, this globally watched event quietly carved a milestone in the new energy revolution.
The RS50 launch transcended a mere product debut—it signaled a paradigm shift: Chinese lithium enterprises are evolving from “capacity exporters” to “technology leaders,” with Reliance spearheading this historic transformation.
