Founded in 2021 by a top-tier technical team with nearly two decades of deep expertise in premium cylindrical cell development, Reliance specializes in the design, R&D, and manufacturing of high-rate, high-energy-density, and high-consistency cylindrical cells. The company’s product portfolio spans both NCA and LFP chemistries in 21700 and 46-series formats, setting new industry benchmarks for the global lithium-ion battery market. Reliance cells power a diverse range of demanding applications, including eMotors, low-altitude eVTOL platforms, power tools, robotics, AI data centers, hypercars, and high-performance specialty vehicles.
Headquartered in Maribor, Slovenia, STRiX stands as an innovator and a premier name in the European hard-enduro eMotor segment and competitive eMotorcycle racing. STRiX’s platforms are renowned for delivering exceptional torque ranging from 975 to 1,050 Nm, a top speed of 130 km/h, and a remarkably lightweight chassis between 118 and 138 kg. The vehicles feature a proprietary liquid-cooled battery system capable of a full swap in under one minute, demonstrating outstanding performance credentials in extreme off-road and professional racing scenarios. Under the terms of the MoU, the two companies will establish a comprehensive strategic partnership. Reliance will serve as a core cell supplier for STRiX, providing high-performance cells for both series production and advanced prototype development. Beyond supply chain integration, the collaboration will extend across multiple dimensions, including joint technical development, engineering test and validation, synergy in European distribution and service centers, and collaboration in professional motorsport initiatives. This alliance aims to deeply integrate Reliance’s advanced cell technology with STRiX’s exceptional vehicle architecture, jointly elevating the global premium eMotor industry to new performance standards.
